The Dean of the College of Education at the University of Fallujah, Assistant Professor Dr. Shereen Hamed Farhan, chaired a master’s thesis defense committee at the University of Anbar
As part of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, and within the framework of mutual academic openness between the University of Fallujah and the University of Anbar, the Dean of the College of Education at the University of Fallujah, Assistant Professor Dr. Shereen Hamed Farhan, chaired the committee for the defense of a master’s thesis entitled:
“Evaluation of soil-derived biosurfactant producing bacteria for environmental bioremediation of crude oil contaminated soil”
The defense was held at the University of Anbar, College of Science, Department of Life Sciences.
This academic participation reaffirms the role of the University of Fallujah in supporting research activity and activating scientific partnerships among academic institutions, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the advancement of scientific research pathways, particularly in vital fields related to the environment and biotechnology.

The scientific discussion was conducted in accordance with approved academic standards and featured a specialized scholarly presentation highlighting research findings on the evaluation of biosurfactant-producing bacteria isolated from soil and their potential applications in the bioremediation of crude oil–contaminated soil within modern environmental applications.
At the conclusion of the defense, the committee commended the researcher for the scientific effort exerted and the academic value of the thesis and its research outcomes, wishing her continued success and excellence in her academic and research career
