The College of Education Council holds its 7th regular open session for the academic year 2024-2025.
Under the chairmanship of Assistant Professor Dr. Sherin Hamid Farhan, Dean of the College of Education, the College Council held its 7th regular open session for the academic year 2024-2025 on Monday, May 19, 2025, with the full attendance of the council members.
At the beginning of the session, the chairperson welcomed Dr. Haitham Hassan Abdul, the new head of the Department of Life Sciences, congratulating him on his appointment to the position, and also welcomed all the members, wishing them continued health and well-being.
The council reviewed the directives of the esteemed University President, as well as the outcomes of the fifth open university council session (Part 2), emphasizing the commitment to implementing those directives in a way that supports the educational process.
Following that, the attendees discussed several items on the agenda related to both academic and administrative matters, including the preparations for the final exams of the second semester, which are scheduled for June 1, 2025. The council encouraged the faculty members to complete the course material and monthly exams before the final exams. Additionally, the student representative was invited to discuss matters concerning the students, and the necessary recommendations and decisions were issued regarding the listed topics.
