Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Shereen Hamed Farhan, and as part of the student activities support program, the Student Activities Division organized a blessed Quranic competition focusing on Recitation (Tilawa) and the Rules of Intonation (Tajweed). The event saw the participation of numerous students dedicated to the art of Quranic recitation and the mastery of its linguistic rules.
The competition aimed to strengthen the students' connection to the Holy Quran and develop their skills in correct recitation according to Tajweed rules. Furthermore, it sought to solidify religious and cultural values within the university community, particularly during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The event was characterized by a distinctive spiritual atmosphere and positive engagement from the participating students. Recitations were evaluated by a specialized committee based on established standards for vocal performance and the precise application of Tajweed rules.
This activity is part of the College Dean’s commitment to supporting cultural and religious initiatives that contribute to refining the students' personalities and enhancing their scholarly and cultural presence on campus.
